Sunset- designed to look at all state agencies that receive state dollars and determine if there are more efficient ways to run those orgs. This was spawned for disabled veterans coming back from the wars. It was later expanded to other people (nonveterans) with disabilities as well. 1973 rehabilitation act was amended to include people with severe disabilities. Referral and preliminary investigation: does the individual have a documented disability, what is the severity, being able to pull together diagnostic materials. Program (iwrp: collaborative btwn rehabilitation counselor and that disabled person to determine goals they"re interested in achieving, your job as the counselor is to find something that works for the agency and the client. Service delivery: the student might be disassociated with the iwrp.
