Sofia i. hernandez (sih 286: theriault & b. albertson. For the different viewpoint activity, i attended a different church. I identify myself as a catholic and the church i went to was religiously affiliated with christians. I know some people say that the two are basically the same, but unless you are a catholic, you know they are not. For instance, they do not honor the virgin mary the way we do. Nor do they pray to the saints that we do such as saint. I had attended the church for my cousins wedding, but nonetheless, a wedding is a wedding. This class has helped me understand that even though we have differences, we shouldn"t let that be in the way between us all. Back during the segregation times, blacks were not allowed to mix with the whites. Now a days, i feel as if we still have segregation when it comes to religion.
