Want to limit the government more, give them term limits, exercise voting right. Indicates that if we have a choice to want to pay less taxes, or want government spending to be less. Direct democracy intended to eliminate parties or influence, corruption. Republic is one where we intend to select representatives. Pluralism is any group who rises, an opposing group will form to go against it. A pro-gun lobby will lead to a rise of an anti-gun lobby. California is more professional than new hampshire because they get paid more, they have more staff and their session is more much longer. In the constitution, every state in the us has to be a republican - the use of representatives, not direct democracy. They felt that people are easily swayed and not intelligent enough to solve issues that are complicated. Direct democracy process can lead to a majority tyranny/mob rule.
