Compare the beginning scene of the movie with the end: sitting side by side, sitting opposite, separated by a glass wall. All the characters are flawed in different ways: there really isn"t any one individual that can be blamed. Provides insight into the everyday life of these characters and those residing in this country. Maid"s perspective to begin with: she appears to be a hard worker, provides glimpse at her terrible home life controlling and violent husband, greatly influenced by her husband. Very gray areas within the movie as to how you feel about the characters and why.
