Brochures often look a lot like magazines and in fact you"ll nd some brochures tucked inside magazines ! Brochure is a term most people are familiar with ! The problem is, it doesn"t mean the same thing to everyone ! Public relations people write lots of copy for brochures ! But if you ask them to tell you what a brochure is, you"ll get a rainbow of explanations! When the term brochure is used in its narrow sense, it signi es a printed piece of six or more pages, published only once and distributed to special public for a single purpose! A booklet is basically a piece of at least eight pages, stitched (with staples) on the spine ! Lters and circulars usually are single-sheet pieces! What these pieces have in common is more important, including:! Their purposes are to persuade, inform and educate !
