A space when talking about politics really validated emotion, validated peoples" experiences to learn from, ways of knowing, call upon tradition of call and response, encourages everyone to participate. Politics theres no notion about gender here. Black people really political ready, but it was argued they were not ready for politics because they did not talk about politics like whites did.
