Use this tool to paint a vivid picture of the topic by using concrete words and figures: similes, metaphors, onomatopoeia. Statement about the relationship between certain items. Often answers the questions: how, what, why. A story about real or imagined things, people, or events told with detail and enthusiasm. Introduction: capture attention, show benefit to audience, state your qualifications, preview purpose and main points. Supporting materials; explanations, examples, statistics, quotes, visuals. Summarize purpose and main points, and give closing thought. Know: the specific type of group, goal or purpose of the group, size of the group, characteristics of the members: What knowledge they have about: the topic, the organization your representation. Who are they: names, if possible, positions and rank. Who are the key decision-makers: departments and responsibilities.
