There is not one social order but several modes of social ordering/modes of social association: Social ordering occurs on all four levels simultaneously, four modes: An encounter is a particular form of an interaction system. All encounters are interaction systems, not all interaction systems are encounters. Difference between encounter and interaction system: encounters are face to face interactions. An encounter gets going whenever there is a condition called co-presence. The prescience of multiple things at the same time in the same space so that presence makes possible the perception of mutual perception. Perceives there are more than one person present but also perceives they are being perceived by them. Mutual prescence makes the difference of the encounter.
