Depth of field - amount of area that is focused in an image; the factors controlling dof are: The greatest depth of field is achieved through: Small aperture (high f-stop) - smaller aperture concentrates light more narrowly. Shutter speed - how long shutter exposes image plane to light. 50 = 1/50 s -- less light, less blur.
