Research shows that in 2018 52% of democrats belief media coverage favors one side than the other. Research also shows that 86% of republicans think the news favors one side (the democratic side). Research also shows that 51% of americans cannot think of a media outlet that they belief to be objective. What pas studies of news media content have shown. Research shows that relatively speaking news media outlets are not biased. In fact news media tend to cover more negative news for presidential candidates. Even news media that is partisan tend to be more objective. During the last presidential election there was more negative news coverage for hilary. Clinton that for trump yet people think the media was biased in support if hilary. Research also shows that 87% of voters on both sides equally don"t see either candidate as being fit for office. There is not a lot of evidence for a positive media bias.
