Hitler was using the berlin olympics to try to prove aryan (nordic, germanic, blond hair blue eyes) superiority to aa race. Aa track and field athletes won several medals. Hitler wanted to ban aa from olympics because of their superior athletics. They proved the opposite of what hitler wanted to show as truth (white superiority) Owens continued to face racism segregation upon return to us. They were still segregated and treated unjustly (freight elevator etc) He was not even invited to the white house. Hitler didn"t snub me - it was fdr who snubbed me.
