Today many corporations, universities and other orgs view racial and ethnic diversity as things they should seek out rather than problems they should avoid (something that was a thing in the past) Our generation is one of the most open minded in terms of race attitudes. People are more accepting of interracial relationships/marriage. Led to supreme court striking down segregation ordinance. Gave rise to civil rights act of 1964 and voting rights act of 1965.
