Stressors can be internal (thoughts, beliefs, aitudes or external (loss, tragedy, change) Eustress or posiive stress occurs when our level of stress is high enough to moivate you to move into acion to get things accomplished. Distress or negaive stress occurs when your levels of stress is either too high or too low and your body and or mind begin to respond negaively to the stressors. Behavioral: work performance, accidents, absenteeism, aggression, poor decisions. Alarm stage: you irst start exercising the event or perceive something as stressful (heart rate increases, temp decreased, increased respiraions) Resistance stage: your body tries to cope with the stressor or adapt to the stressors by beginning a process of repairing any damage the stressor has caused. Your friends and family might noice ( withdrawal from life, sleep more or less, angry, change in eaing habits) stress starts to take a hold.
