With this we have real courage and moderation and justice and, in a world, true virtue, with wisdom, whether pleasures and fears and all such things be present or absent. When there are exchanged for one another in separation from wisdom, such virtue is only an illusory appearance of virtue. Nothing in this world is controllable by us. If we are wise it doesn"t affect us what is happening in the world. One must agree that it is being alive. That in the end everything would show the story of endymion to have no meaning . If there was not a process of transformation things could not become what they are. What causes the shift to transform from one thing to its opposite.
