Did not bc they are poor so they don"t buy much with each other. 1990s mummar ghadafi was leading force in trying to revive it. Promote and defend african common positions to the world. Corruption is a downfall of the continent as a whole. Spend most of their time tyring to keep their heads above the water. African nations do not have the luxery to worry about other things. Toolve african problems without relying on any other countries like the us. Other cointries increasingly do not want to get involved in africa (us and england)
