Sex = anatomy, biological classifications, designates us a female, male or intersex. Sexuality = set of desires expressed sexually and socially through relationships: heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, some think it"s a biochemical expression, others say it"s a gendered expression. All 3 of the terms play a part in the socialization hierarchy. Patriarchy = source of power & formal authority & social organization is rooted in the idea that males have more value & that heterosexism is a preferred sexuality. This structure is supposed to govern all of our political, social, & religious institutions. These assumptions ^^ have dominated decision making & public policy. Women on average hear better than men, men have dominant visual abilities. According to recent studies, females & males do not innately have these superior sensory functions: 3. ) thought processing/brain function. Significant differences among sexes about how we process information.
