People not open to experience tend to be consistent and cautious. The appreciation of unusual ideas, curiosity, and enjoyment of a variety of experiences. Reflects intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a preference for novelty. Organized (high on conscientiousness) or easy going if low on this. Organized and dependable, shows self-discipline, gets work done on time and likes to plan. Being energetic, positive, assertive, sociable, tend to be talkative, and generally outgoing. Try to get along, tend to be trusting, helpful, and generally well- tempered. Easily experience negative emotions such as anxiety or anger. We think personality characteristics are stable over time (ex. Not a complete agreement on what personality is. Understand why people do things and be able to explain it.
