Jack kevorkian (dr. death) - helped his patients commit suicide then crossed the line and actually killed one and was charged. A lot of people who get a lethal dosage don"t end up taking it. They like the security of having it in case the pain gets too bad. If mentally competent and terminally ill (6 mo to live), given dose of drugs to kill yourself (right to die) Sometimes physician may be there to assist this process such as dr. death other family members, not lethal injection, not refuse to treat, Not hospice - --- palliative care: may give you drugs that if you take a huge dose (morphine) you could die but that"s not the aim.
