Leader- someone who can influence others and who has managerial authority. Leadership- process of leading a group and influencing the group to achieve their goals. Traits and leadership: drive, desire to lead, honesty/integrity, self-confidence, intelligence, job-relevant knowledge, extraversion, proneness to guilt- strong responsibility for others. Transactional: lead by social exchange, rewards for productivity. Transformational: stimulate and inspire followers to achieve extraordinary outcomes.
