Objective approach: thinks of organizations as tangible, physical, observable. This is believed to be what an organization is. Subjective approach: thinks the organization is the meaning behind these things. How people talk, how they behave, and determine why these things are happening. Regulative: make sure its working, but add a few things here and there. Believe its good, us structure is good, just want to add a few changes. Argue there are biases built into the way we organize, the oppress people. They want to change the way we organize. Tangible, physical things i can observe from a traditional organization. Making the organization more effective through efficiency, productivity, etc. Strong managerial bias (how to make company more efficient or productive) What are the parts and how do we make them work better.
