Lab 1 results we performed a paired (correlated) t-test. It"s likely to be correlated because the results come from the same person. Don"t use the word equivalent, because you can"t test for that. Results: the light versus dark scores were very similar. A t-test was conducted to determine if there was a statistically significant favor for the dark faces, but there was not a statistically significant difference. T less than 1. 0; df = 13. (not greater than 1. 0 and not less than -1. 0). The correlation comes from the same attractiveness level and we"re going to correlate that w/ the beauty measurement and the afrocentricity (measured with the same light tone). We found: r = 0 (officially, r = . 01) and df = 12. Discussion: don"t give stats again. (super rare to do this. ) Always write your abstract after you"ve written this section. Afrocentricity wasn"t manipulated, then there is always alternative options/reasons for the results.
