Bluefin tuna collapse: tuna regulated through quotas by international commission for the conservation of atlantic. In this case, policies set based on best scientific theories, but turned out to be wrong and have disastrous effects on tuna. Social risks: changes to economy of places like newfoundland due to quotas: types of sustainability emerge. No models were able to account for uncertainty: to put into practice: Uncertainty should not be reason to avoid prevention/delay taking action.
