Farming production has been affected during the covid-19 pandemic due to labor, mainly seasonal workers since seasonal labor is more intensive than regular production. Due to social distancing rules, there has been a shortage of workers because of sickness and lockdown measures. Many facilities have workers confined in spaces for packing plants, vegetables, and meats. With social distancing measures in place, getting the job done in a timely manner has been less efficient due to measures that ensure workers" safety. France, the capacity allowed in the building was reduced by 30%. The meat industry is the most sensitive compared to other food processing due to the intensive labor it entails. The meat industry has had workers working in close proximity and not having sufficient space for social distancing, making the spread of the virus worse. Another sector that has been affected is transportation, especially with global air cargo.
