They came up to our house that night. Their vehicle pulled up to our driveway with the blinding lights of red and blue. The neighbours all standing outside, draped in their nightgowns whispering eerie murmurs and hushed voices as they walked up to our doorstep. I wasn"t supposed to open doors for strangers, especially when my parents weren"t home. I tiptoed towards the window and peeked through and there they were. There was a lot of them outside, two were waving at my neighbours to move away, two were standing beside their flashing vehicles, one was standing right on the porch and the other was standing right outside our doorstep. I watched as she knocked on the door, i didn"t know what to do, i was scared and confused and then i had an idea. Dashing towards the kitchen table i picked up the telephone and dialled the number written on the message board.
