Following this, two strings of letters will briefly appear one above the other. Your task is to decide whether or not the letters make up valid english words. If both strings of letters are valid words, press the "i" key. If one of the strings of letters is not a valid word, press the "e" key. Try to classify the strings of letters as words or non-words as quickly and accurately as you can. You will start with a few practice trials. Get ready for the task by placing your index fingers on the "e" and "i" keys.
