All injuries/ marks photographed close up with and without scale. Post mortem examination investigating officer and fio brief pathologist on known facts. Serve coroner"s warrant to hold post mortem to pathologist - allows the autopsy to be conducted. Prior to closing a scene: particular subject experts may be utilized in the inquiry (e. g. looking at dental records for confirmation of identification depending on the condition of the body)
