Thomas aquinas"s treatise on law is one of his significant theories within legal philosophy; there are questions 90 to 108 within the prima secund . Within the first question, aquinas had divided it into four articles. According to aquinas, a system of rules and measures of an act in accordance with which one is either urged to act or prevented from doing. Law (lex) emanates from the latin word ligare, which means "to bind" because law obligates one to comply. The core value and standard by which all human behaviours are judged.
