Researchers have evidence that their manipulation of videogame violence was appropriate. Those who played the violent video game gave more hot sauce to a confederate than those who played nonviolent video games. Issue: a posttest only measure as amount of hot sauce given to confederates was only measured after the video game. Issue: participants likely to catch on to the idea of the study quickly.
