Fake news is more viral than real news. Spreads faster and further than truthful news across social media. The effects were more pronounced for false news about terrorism, natural disastersm science, and financial info. When using bots it was found fake and truthful news was spread at the same rate; it is humans doing the spreading of fake over truthful news. With and without warning (of this phenomenon) this trend still exists. The more correct answers generally means a more analytic thinking style. An association between intuitive thinking and bs receptivity. Unsurprisingly also an association between intuitive thinking and fake news receptivity. Clinton vs trump voters and their perceived accuracy of fake headlines. Higher (in general) with intuitive vs deliberate thinkers. If it sounds like a good story it is more often believed/if it sounds good it is more likely to be believed. If it reaffirms ones previous beliefs they are more likely to believe it.
