THEO-001 Lecture Notes - Lecture 13: Ramana Maharshi
Document Summary
Relationality starts from an individual human point of view. All about our relationship with things that are beyond us. Becoming a saint means a mere perfection in terms of one"s alignment with beloved, lord, father, etc. He lived in isolation the second part of his life, and did not engage with people much. From that moment on he focused on the source which is the self. When u say experience - u imply there is somebody that experiences and smth that is experienced. Religion is a relation to a reality that has a divine function in one"s life. The mind, the i though, and the supreme self. The mind - constantly changes, looking for the source of who i am, he reaches what could be called the root or the source of what i thought. Supreme self - never changes, all encompassing reality, all underlying reality, the self of all, nothing individual more like collective.
