Lodging a complaint individual arrested w/out warrant taken to police station, police record criminal charges & obtain other info relevant to case. Description of suspect, circumstances relating to offence. Lesser offence likelihood accused will be released immediately by officer in charge. Lay an information, have summons issued against accused. If accused lives more than 200 km/not resident of province may be required to deposit sum of not more than . Saves police from having to search for accused. Allow as many accused as possible to leave police station as quickly as possible. No judicial intervention have to swear an information, present to justice of peace asap.
