Here we discuss about the face recognition which is very useful now-a-days . As during biometric processing , face recognition is done . In our smartphones , we use face lock which are completely based on face recognition and detection system. Face recognition is a personal identification system that uses personal characteristics of a person to identify the person"s identity. Face recognition is the task of identifying an already detected object as a known or unknown face. It is also described as a biometric artificial intelligence based application that can uniquely identify a person by analyzing patterns based on the person"s facial textures and shape. There are two predominant approaches to the face recognition problem: geometric (feature based) and photometric (view based). Geometric: is based on geometrical relationship between facial landmarks, or in other words the spatial configuration of facial features.
