Similarly, our points of view regarding historical people or events often change over time. It is about understanding the social, economic, political, cultural and even emotional conditions of the world they lived in. -

D So much has happened in the past. A big part of studying history is NOT knowing all that took place but determining what was important. Trying to determine what makes an event important or significant can be difficult. We want to understand its importance for us and impact on our lives. -
