Pouring concrete is better for maintaining air quality, and sound control. Physical factors vs floors: heat, control heat by the use of thermal barrier, control heat between parti-floors using insulation, bc they have dissimilar indoor environments. Ex. computer room and office or swimming pool and a residential space: code: part 5 environmental separation is required, ex. gatineau preservation river.
