This is the following question that I have to answer inmanagerial accounting:

Prepare a report for management incorporating yourcritical analysis with recommendations on a wayforward.

I am having a very hard time with this question not because Idon't know how to answer it but how to prepare a report. Thefollowing was my answer:

I purpose that we allow the individual stores be granted moreresponsibility in regards to purchasing of goods and financialreports. Each individual store is located in different geographiclocations. Therefore, the customers that shop at a particular storehave different needs and wants. Some goods that might sell reallywell in an upper class geographic region will not sell as well in alower class region. By giving the store manager the responsibilityof the inventory in the store, we are able to save money. When thehead office has full purchasing power we are just ordering thegoods that we would want to see in our store not necessarily thegoods that the customers would purchase. Also by having differentbrands of the same item we are allowing our store managers toevaluate what is the best product for their store. When it comes topreparing financial reports they will be more specific for thestores, then the head office can compare the different regions tosee if there needs to be changes or if the region is thriving andis a good area to add another location.

My teacher said that this is incorrect and I need to have areport and when I asked her what exactly she wanted she said itcould be a "memo" to the managers but I thought that is what I did.PLEASE HELP!!!

You are being asked to create a recommendation for order size and time between orders for the Q9900 based on the numbers for this San Francisco location. Answer the questions that follow in order to create a detailed report for your supervisor.
