the domain ofs(x) = all real numbers. we have tested continuity.. but we have totest differentiability. if we are given f(x) and we find that f'(c)doesnt exist then f(x) is not differentiable at x=c. let f(x) = 5if x =0 and 10 if x-0 DNE otherwise. Then on interval [0,1] thisfunction exists. However, this function is not differentiable. thefunction doesnt satisfy the hypotheses but if it satisfyscontinuity, it means it must not satisfy differentiability. if thedomain is not equal to the whole number lines, then the values thatare not in the domain are where the function doesnt exist.. WHEREis it not differentiable? is this answer belowright?
