7 P.S. #4:
A. A torus is formed by revolving the region bounded by thecircle
(x-2)^2 + y^2 = 1
about the y-axis. Use the disk method to calculate the volume ofthe torus.
B. Use the disk method to find the volume of the general torus ifthe circle has radius r and its center is R units from the axis ofrotation.
This problem has been stumping me on my homework. Can you pleasespell out things like integral, delta, etc. instead of using thesymbol. For some reason when you use the equation thing it makes itappear as weird character. An example would be how I wrote theequation above.
