I need to know how you got your solution and the process as to how you got there. I need to know because I have a problem similar to this for my homework due tommrrow and I'm confused on how to tackle this. Thank you for any help you can provide me in this sample.
1) consider the function g(x) = 8/x.
a). Find the slope between the points (x, g(x)) and (x+h,g(x+h)). (show all of your work)
b). Find the limit of your answer from part a as h approaches 0. (show all of your work)
2) Consider the function j(x) = 10sqrt(x).
a) Find the slope between the points (x, j(x)) and (x+h,j(x+h)). (show all of your work)
b) Find the limit of your answer from part a as h approaches 0. (show all of your work)
