This week's topic has been at the forefront in the last couple of Presidential elections and of course recent elections and upcoming administration. As you consider this topic, be sure to focus on the question at hand. As a society, we are presented with several issues relating to immigration into the United States. These range from illegal immigrants, impacts of immigrants entering the United States and the impacts on our current economy, insurance costs, etc. This week's clip highlights some compelling arguments and points; all of which must be considered as a policymaker. As in previous weeks, consider the various stakeholders and their position and interest as it pertains to the topic.

You may consider this issue from a local, national, and global perspective. Consider the difficulty in setting policy and establishing laws which target to do what is best. As with most issues, some will benefit, while others benefit less

Challenge:

To actively debate the issue topic by removing personal biases and personal feelings regarding the issue.

Present supporting arguments specific to all sides of the issue topic;

Challenge yourself by presenting and debating the Yes or No side of the issue that you may not personally support.

Refrain from using language such as; I believe and I feel in presenting arguments.
