I need to add the lynx and hare population functions to get a new function that models the total mammal population, graph the function and find its average value, amplitude, periord, and phase shift. Question is from Precalculus 5th edition by James Stewart, page 433, #2 in the Discovery Project section. As this question refers to a graph in the book, I must refer to the book to ask this question.
