Consider the circuit shown in the figure . Suppose thefourresistors in this circuit have thevalues R1 = 12 Ω, R2 = 6.5 Ω,R3 = 7.1 Ω,and R4 = 10 Ω, and that the emf of thebattery is ε = 15V
Find the current through each resistor using the rulesforseries and parallel resistors. (I1, I2, I3, I4)
Find the current through each resistor using Kirchhoff'srules.(I1, I2, I3, I4)
I am having difficulty with both.. I always get 3.27 forI1which is definitely not right. I have tried following thesolutionfor this problem that is given by the site and it isn'tveryhelpful, it skips steps so I don't know where some of theanswersare coming from. Can anyone please help?
