A rocket is projected upward from the earth's surface (r=RE) with an initial speed v0 that carriesitto a distance r = 1.7 RE from the center of theearth. What is the launch speed v0? Assume that airfrictioncan be ignored.
I am thinking â((2*(6.67*10^-11)(5.98*10^24))/R) but i'm notsure ifR is the radius of the earth or is it 1.7times the radiusof theearth. Help!!
