which gave the following:

for my conical pendulum;

t = (v x 60 x 2pi) / 60
t = 1 x 2pi
t = 2 pi

Therefore using the above formula:

2pi = 2pi sqrt(2cos(theta)/9.81)
9.81 = 2cos(theta)
4.905 = cos(theta)
this is wrong.

The question asks to find the electric field at A and at B, andwhat the net direction is for each. I understand how to find theelectric fields at A and B, but what I don't understand is why thenet direction for both A and B is to the right.

I placed E1 at -12.5 nC, and E2 at -6.25 nC. I thought that,because I came up with a bigger number for E1, and because chargesgo toward the negative in an electric field, its net directionwould be to the left, but it is to the right. I am completelyconfused on direction.
