1)These questions refer to the expression for the magnetic fieldat the center of the square solenoid. Assume: for all coils, eachside of the square a = 3.62 cm and the length of the solenoid L=63.1 cm.
NOTE: Everything must be in MKS units!
NOTE: μo = 1.26x10-6 in MKS units.

a) In procedure 1, you will plot Bmax vs. N, the number of turns ofthe coil. Suppose you set the current of I = 1.32 A, and vary thenumber of turns of the coil (with a and L the same for each coil).Find the slope of this straight line.
T/turn

b) In procedure 2, you will plot Bmax vs. I. Suppose you use a coilwith 916 turns, and vary the current I. Find:
- n, the number of turns per length: turns/m
- the slope of this straight line: T/A

2) In the diagram current-carrying wires are wrapped around thesquare solenoid of side a, length L, and n turns per meter. Assumethe current runs clockwise (looking down on the coil).

Suppose we put current I through the coil, and the magnetic fieldat the center of the cavity is B. If we now double three quantites:side a, number of turns per meter .n and length L, the new mangeticfield at the center of the cavity will be
