Design a double-slit apparatus [i.e., select the ratio of slitwidth D to slit spacing d] so that the number of peaks that arevisible under the central diffraction peak contains precisely 11bright fringes. Assume that the first diffraction minimum occursat:
(a) an interference minimum,

(b) an interference maximum.

Basically, it wants a ratio of D to d. I know N=11 and that for myminimum 11=2m-1, meaning m=6. And I know sinθ=λ/D and sinθ=mλ/d. Soλ/D=mλ/d and the ration should be just 6 for the minimum, right? But I'm not getting the right answer.
