A thin flexible metal plate is attached at one end to aplatform, can be used to measure mass. when the free end of theplate is pulled down and released, it vibrates in simple harmonicmotion with a period that depends on the mass attached to theplate. to calibrate the force constant, objects of known mass areattached to the plate and he plate is vibrated, obtaining the databelow.

MASS AVERAGE TIME FOR 10VIBRATIONS PERIOD t(S) pERIOD(SQUARED) t (SQUARED)

0.1 5.05

0.2 7.22

0.3 9.03

0.4 10.1

0.5 10.95

0.7 13.25

0.9 15.30

1.2 17.33

1.5 19.06

Please plot a PERIOD VS. TIME and a T(squared) VS MASS graph

Using one of the graphs..an unknown mass is vibrated on theflexible plate and the time for 10 vibration is 24.4 seconds/determine the unkown mass from the graphs using reasoning.

Lastly, the relationship for SHM between period and mass is

T=2(pi)(SQUARE ROOT OF m/k) <---im sure you guys know thatequatiion.

Using this fact, determine the experimental value of the springconstant. Show your work please. And please show how you got theinformation from the graphs.

SORRY FOR LONG POST BUT IM TRULY LOST ON THIS ONE, I NEED YOURHELP FIGURING IT OUT. YOU GUS ARE THE GENIUSES , PLEASE HELP ME.ANY ATTEMPT OR SOLUTION WILL GET LIFESAVER. i only have a few hrsTHANK YOU!
