(a) Two 70 g ice cubes are dropped into 238 g of water in athermally insulated container. If the water is initially at 25°C,and the ice comes directly from a freezer at -15°C, what is thefinal temperature at thermal equilibtrium? (Neglect the heatcapacity of the glass.)
°C
(b) What is the final temperature if only one ice cube isused?
I got that a was zero.
So I used(.07)(2220)(15)+(.07)(4186)+(.07)(4180)(T-0)+(.238)(4186)(T-25)=0
But that is wrong! Please help!
