The question refers to figure 9.8 on page 277 of Serway &Vuille's "College Physics" (8th edition), but can be completedwithout the figure as well.The spring of the pressure gauge shown in the figure has a forceconstant of 1295 N/m, and the piston has a radius of 1.25 cm. Asthe gauge is lowered into water, what change in depth causes thepiston to move in by 0.750 cm?I am stuck somewhere but don't know where...this shouldn't be sohard! Thanks for your help :)
