A ball of mass .0750kg is traveling horizontally with a speed of2.20 m/s. It strikes a vertical wall and rebounds horizontally. Dueto the collision with the wall, 20% of the ball's initial keneticenergy is dissipated.

A:Show that the ball rebounds from the wall with a speed of 1.97m/s^-2

For this part i assumed that the ^-2 was a typo and was meant tojust be ^2.
However, my work is wrong and my teacher never taught us thisinformation. What i did was divided the initial speed of 2.20M/s by.8 since it losses 20% of its energy when it hits the wall, however, this give you an answer of 1.76 m/s. can someone show mehow to do this correctly or show me where i went wrong?
