The three air carts shown in the figure have masses, reading fromleft to right, of 4m, 2m, and m, respectively. The most massivecart has an initial speed of v_0; the other two carts are at restinitially.All carts are equipped with spring bumpers that giveelastic collisions.
a) Find the final speed of each cart
b) Verify that the final kinetic energy of the system is equal tothe initial kinetic energy. (Assume that the air track is longenough to accommodate all collisions).
